About Tierra a Taza Coffee Co.
Tierra a Taza Coffee Co. started as a mobile coffee cart setup servicing the Dallas - Fort Worth (DFW) area and has since opened a coffee shop in the heart of downtown Dallas inside AMLI Fountain Place. Serving specialty coffee and Mexican-inspired lattes where velvety espresso meets the bold sweetness of dulce de leche, the warmth of cinnamon, or the decadence of Mexican vanilla beans.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 amβ2 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is tatcoffeeco.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 60 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Dallas and suggests consistent service.
Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Dallas peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Although it's the only coffee house I've tried on this trip, it's the best around. It has to be! Quadruple cappuccino breve with a large drip coffee to go has been my go-to for the past two mornings while staying at the Fairmont Dallas down the road. My daughter had an iced matcha which was great and a Chai tea that was definitely too sweet for our preference but it was our fault for not asking.

Just visiting town and I love local coffee shops that have their own creative coffees and foods. This perfectly met my hopes! The horchata was so tasty. I got it iced and it was refreshing, light, and still felt cozy. I also got the brunch toast. I loved every bite. The sourdough was soft and airy (how every sourdough should be) and the crust wasnβt hard like most sourdough is. Very tasty. I got my egg fried and it was fried perfectly with whites fully cooked and yolk a little runny. Flavors were fresh and delightful with avocado spread, everything seasoning, tomato, pickled onion, just the right amount of arugula and the egg (you can also get it scrambled). I was worried I wouldnβt feel full because there wasnβt additional meat, but I felt satisfied and content after finishing (itβs pretty big!) 10/10 would recommend and I might be back tomorrow before heading out of town π€©

Tierra a Taza was in my building (Waterway Tower) this morning serving up coffees, cocoas, teas, and some breakfast bites! The were very thoughtful and efficient! I got these cute little hearts on my chai latte, which was warm cinnamon-y goodness! It was perfectly steamed with a great foam! <3 If you're looking for a coffee cart that has a wide variety of drinks, speedy and friendly service, and has everyone walking away with a smile, you definitely want to reach out to Tierra a Taza!

Iβm quite particular about my coffee. I cannot drink a dark roast. I like smooth and fruity. I often find downtown coffee shops risky and not great. THIS is wonderful. Just around the corner from the Fairmont. Worth putting your shoes on in the morning for their sweet balanced and BRIGHT coffee (iced had a little natural process nuance which I love). If youβre a serious coffee drinker and canβt find what youβre looking for downtown, donβt be fooled by the sweet drinks offered (which Iβm sure are great) - this is high quality coffee

Lattes were delicious! We got the Mexican mocha latte, cold brew with sweet cold foam, and a blueberry danish. You are able adjust sweetness or add more to your liking. The place was very clean and chic! The employees were extremely pleasant. Only note I have is the danish was cold in the middle when it was warmed up. Besides that, it was great!
